IGIA spread around an area of 5,106 acres in Palam, New Delhi. From New Delhi railway station, it is about 15 km south-west whereas from New Delhi city centre it is around 16km. this was named after former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. It was declared as the 16th busiest airport in the world and 7th in Asia. This airport consists of three terminals from which terminal 3 are the world’s 8th largest terminal. 1) Terminals:

• Terminal 1: utilized for all local and low-cost airlines.
• Terminal 2: utilized by not many yet by some every selective aircraft.
• Terminal 3: recently manufactured terminal for a large portion of the global flights and for a couple of residential flights.

• ITC hotels green lounge: you can access this only by lounge membership program at terminal 3, airside.

3) Nearby hotels: If you won’t enjoy the sleep at the airport then you can take advantage of the facilities of these nearby hotels.

• Holiday inn express: located inside the transit area and you will be charged on hourly bases.
• Sam’s Snooze At My Space: located at terminal 3, international departure. And the charges will be $12 per hour for a single person and $22 per hour for double.
• Plaza Premium Lounge: located at the terminal 3 (domestic & international arrivals). And the charges will be 2500 INR for a single person and 3500 INR for double.
• Ibis New Delhi Airport: located between terminals 1 &3 but no shuttle service will be provided from the airport.
• Hotel Delhi Aero city: located near terminal 3.

4) Other amenities:

• Play area for children: kids can relax and make themselves active by playing games in this play zone which is situated at international departure at terminal 3.
• Gaming zone: gaming freak can entertain themselves by playing different amazing games which are offered by Amoeba at terminal 3 at both international and domestic arrivals.
• ATMs: need money? Then cash machines are available at terminal 3 (both arrival and departure). Be sure that you will check your daily withdrawal limit if you are on any trip as a fee for withdrawal may be charged. And be sure that you will notify your bank about your travel plans.
• Medical care: 24/7 doctors will be available in your service at the airport with a medical care centre at all the terminals. And on terminal 3, medical facilities from the forties are also available.
