Kasol has only one ATM in the entire place, surprised but that’s true! So it is advisable to have all your cash handy as that one and only ATM might go under repair or out of cash. But keep all of it at a different place for a safety check. Else in an emergency you can use another nearest ATM which 4km to Manikaran.
Not to travel in monsoons:
The road got slippery, the chance of vehicle skidding and landslides increase. Hence, kasol does not prove to be safe for trekking and bike riding. Monsoons are an active season for insects, which also can be dangerous for travelers. Hence, before your visit to Kasol carefully check the weather conditions.
Medical kit handy:
