  1. Be Nice and Smile:

Everyone respond to kindness and many irate customers and travelers airline people have to deal with day in and day out. Being in customer service is not easy and a little courtesy and appreciation goes a long way. You want someone on the other side standing in your corner to bat for you, when something doesn’t work out in your favor.

  1. Don’t pay for Wi-Fi:

Certain apps have been proven to have limited functionality without needing to pay for the in-flight Wi-Fi though you can opt in for Wi-Fi.  Though not expansive, the list mostly pertains to Google apps. But don’t expect miracles for the apps to work as well as they are said to.

  1. Free Things on a Plane:

Free things may not be the peanuts anymore on a plane. Now you can ask for a range of things that include medicines, wingpins, and some babysitting if you just need a minute or two for yourself away from the little ones. The one free thing that sometimes is included is a tour to cockpit.

  1. Sleep with an Eye mask:

It’s amazing how many people forget that an eye mask can work wonders for getting some rest as it’s one of the no-brainer tricks in the book. The biggest hindrance to sleeping well besides being forced in an upright position all the time are noise and light. The sleep quality can improve drastically once you put on the mask and drift away in the world of dreams. There’s a whole set of things in fact you can bring that makes your experience improving overall comfort level on a flight.

  1. Bring That Water Bottle:

You can actually still bring that water bottle when you pass through the scanner but the catch here is that it has to be empty. Because there’s no law that states you can’t refill it at a water fountain or ask the flight attendant to top it off for you during the plane. And even no one should board the flight un-hydrated.
